ETIAS (European Travel Information and Authorization System) is the authorization system required for travelers planning to travel to Europe. This system will be implemented from 2025.

Key features:

• Visa Waiver Program Countries: This program is for citizens of countries that can visit the Schengen area (26 countries including Skipland, Norway, Iceland, etc.) within the European Union without a visa.
• Apply Online: Travelers must apply online and submit the required information before starting their trip.
• Travel Authorization System: Once approved, you are free to travel during its validity period. Travelers must obtain ETIAS approval before making travel itineraries.
• Validity Period: Once approved, ETIAS is valid for up to three years or until the expiration date of the travel document on which the traveler is entitled. Each trip can last up to 90 consecutive days. However, this may change in the future.
